Life at San Francisco’s Hall of Justice is about to change — again — with the baton-passing at 5 p.m. Wednesday from interim District Attorney Suzy Loftus to no-interim-needed Chesa Boudin.
Boudin famously edged out presumed front-runner Loftus in the Nov. 5 election after former District Attorney George Gascón quit to seek the same office in Los Angeles.
New S.F. Office to Open to Help Sexual Assault and Harassment Victims
San Francisco Mayor London Breed on Thursday signed legislation creating a new office that will hold city departments accountable for their handling of sexual assault cases.
The Office of Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) will assist victims who file complaints against city departments that have turned them away, sometimes due to insufficient evidence.
