SHARP envisions a San Francisco that holistically supports survivors, treating them with respect and dignity in their search for healing and justice.

We Honor Your Decision Not To Report - Tell Us More

We understand that sexual violence occurs in a continumm that can initiate with Sexual Harassment (Visual, Verbal, Physical) and can escalate to sexual assault, rape, and even murder. Survivors can encounter/experience/survive sexual violence anywhere on the spectrum, so in order to have consistent language we will use “encounter” as encompassing of all the possibilities that an individual can experience when faced with sexual violence.
